These sisters were in town visiting family from Colorado. It was so hot and they did so great! I always feel extra bad for people when they are not used to the heat! The girls were so good! Lately on my sessions, the kids don’t know who Dora or Spongebob is, so I haven’t been able to sing it. So when the two year old mentions Dora the Exporer, I got a little excited. Lets just say I have never belted out Dora like I did that day! Seriously, it was some major singin. I am so embarrassed now that I think about it! I am going to blame it on the fact that I had done my first ever garage sale that day. The lack of sleep and heat just really got to me! To top it off, as we were leaving, I saw that there were a couple guys fishing at pond we were at. Lovely. Thank you Amanda for having me take their pictures and showing up with the cutest stuff ever!!! Your girls are gorgeous!

I love this family! I first met Heidi when she called me to do her daughters newborn pictures over a year ago. Heidi is such a babe, don’t ya think! That little girl has everyone in her family wrapped tightly around her finger:) As it should be!

I love this shot! I had told mom and dad to give each other a kiss.

I guess the boys thought I was talking to them too!

For those who don’t follow me on Facebook, (click and press “like”, facebook gets updated a bit more than the blog) you probably don’t know that the P. Family is moving! In about a week we will be calling Highland, Utah home sweet home! The hubbie has been working up in Orem for the last 10 months making it home every other weekend. We probably should have made the move back when he first got the job, but we didn’t want to pull the kids out of school. I am a total St. George girl, so moving to Happy Valley should be interesting. I hear all of these Utah County girls wear high heels everyday. Please tell me it’s not true!! I can’t wear heels, they kill my feet after 2 minutes! It’s ok. I am not scared. I am excited for this new adventure! But don’t be shocked when I am still in my PJ’s {and slippers} at 4pm. So beginning sometime at the end of July, I will be scheduling sessions for anyone interested up that way:) If you would like to schedule something now or have questions, shoot me an email! For all of my St. George peeps: No worries!!!! I will be traveling down south often to visit family and squeeze a little work in:)

I want to say THANK YOU to all of my wonderful clients/friends I have made along the way. Seriously! You have all been so great! I have met so many amazing people since starting this business and I am thankful for that! I am super excited to get my business going up in Utah County! I have been shocked at how many people have already contacted me about doing pictures! You all make me feel so special! Thank you for all of your support! Sorry for the cheesiness!

These kids are CRAZY! In a good way of course:) My crazy energy just intensified theirs! We definitely had A LOT of fun during the session. Holly makes really cute crocheted beanies, headbands, blankets, etc. I am sure you have heard of her company: Treasured by Holly. I love her stuff!

Miss Quinn. What can I say? She is beautiful just like her mamma! Her mom Amberlee is my best friend Lindsay’s older sis. She was a delight! Amber lives up north, so we didn’t get to do newborn pictures. She really wanted some pictures of her in her blessing dress so we crossed our fingers that it would still fit! Her chubbers filled it out perfectly! I seriously wanted to eat her up!

These cute kiddos are my BFF Lindsay’s kiddos. I got to see them just before Thanksgiving. I love them to death and wish that I could see their cute faces {in person} every single day. But no. They had to move to stupid Idaho! I guess at least I have these cute pics to stare at when I need my Grantham kid fix!

Mother Nature was not on our side the day of this session. I drove out to Hurricane to meet them at their house and then go to a couple nearby locations. When we walk outside, its totally raining! Camera’s and lens’s don’t like rain. Lori’s thick curly hair doesn’t like rain. Nobody likes rain and wind and cold when they are mixed together. We decided to drive back to St. George because it wasn’t raining there…yet. It was so windy and towards the end of the session, it started to drizzle. Considering the not so great weather, I think the pictures turned out great! If you need some cute picture frames as last minute gifts for Christmas, Lori is your gal!!!

I am not what you would call “A dog lover”. More of a “kinda liker”.

In order to get my clients their pictures in a {somewhat} timely manner, somethings gotta give. In the last week, it has been my blog! So to all of my clients who have their cd already and are wondering why the heck I didn’t post your session, its not cuz I don’t like you. I love you. I loved taking your pictures. I WILL be posting all of my sessions….eventually. Hope everyone is having a great December. Oh!!! Guess what! I got my Christmas present early this year. I GOT A NEW CAMERA!!! I have been dying for one. Since I have been doing photography, I have been toting around a Rebel. My rebel has been great to me. But I knew that eventually I would need to upgrade. I got a 5d, I got a 5d, I got a 5d. No, not the Mark 2. It’s the “classic” 5d, but I really don’t need the video and for $1,500 less, I am happy to take the older model! So far, so good! I am loving it! I got it the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Since then I have shot 15 sessions. So I am sure that helps you understand my lack of blogging! Believe it or not, I am not too behind…yet:) If your wondering, I haven’t posted any sessions yet since getting my new camera. Honestly, I am not sure that anyone will be able to tell the difference, but I definitely can, and that’s all that matters:)
